Strech (stretch) film is a name given to stretched plastic packaging film that allows various materials to be packaged in a bulk and taut manner. As the name of the stretch film suggests, its elastic structure ensures that the packaged products are collected in a tense manner. Shrink films, another type, are used by being stretched with heat after being loosely wrapped around the products. Stretch films are used to standardise loads on pallets and to group smaller products together.
